It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Hi!

I have been on holiday now for three days and I'm already thinking working and checking school grades online. Luckily I've been able to avoid works few days and grades just made me smile, over all good school period. :)

In this year In have also realized how important it is to follow your dreams. There's nothing stopping you if you decide and work for it. My goal is now halfway, and I probably graduate under three years. It is such a huge difference to my previous school experience in Lahti University of Applied Sciences.. :)

Christmas time will be spended with Tomi's and mine family, because we both have young little brothers we want to be there for them in Christmas evening. I think we might have to seperate for while but I'm so glad that we still have a lot of time with Tomi for the rest of the week. <3

Yesterday I went to Hanna's home for Birthday cake and coffee, it was so nice to see everybody before Christmas and whole day was really cozy, thanks to my friends. :)

Paper war is finally over!

Hello!

Only one exam remains and I really feel that I have given my all to school. I just can't wait for Thursday when my Christmas holiday finally starts!

Today I finally got my original visa invitation from Russia, so I can apply my visa this week! I also have managed to do every paper work that was required to start school in St. Petersburg, such as scholarship applications, substitutability to my normal studies, applications for Kela and insurance company and also applied international student card.

I'm all confused how much really had to been done before I can totally relax. Luckily all things have now been cared of!

This picture is from last Sunday when we wen't to have family dinner with Tomi and his family, we wen't to pizza buffet and I literaly ate so much that I thought I wouldn't need food anymore in this year... :D Although it was fun to hangout with my "family". Someday it will be. Someday quite soon I hope. ;)

I'm also glad to announce that I have Spain trip ahead in January!! Hopefully Tomi can get to Fuengirola with me, to visit my grandparents and getting sun energy to this darkness.

Now I have go back to exam papers, I wish all to you Merry Christmas already!

Getting little bit nervous

Hi everyone!

I know that it's still quite early to think about moving, because I have two months left before that, but I still have so much things to do before that. All the insurances, Kela papers and etc. I have studied Russian language at school and on my own with friends. It's a blessing to have friends from other countries so you can learn so much from their culture. :)

I have been reading few other blogs that have wrote about living in St. Petersburg and have discovered many useful facts from those. In those texts people claim that if something doesn't work or go to way it should've you can just chill and say Это Россия = This is Russia. :D I also know that by knowing the basics for example asking "Вы говорите по-английски" which means "Do you speak English?" is crutial because many people speak that but claim that they don't.

I was quite surprised that it takes almost 3 minutes to get to the metro station under ground! Quite different when you compare it to the Finnish metro station. :D

Here's some basic information gathered from the internet:

Don't drink water anywhere else than in the bottle. Keep copy of your passport with you at all time. Some of the stores are open 24 hours and some are open till 10 or 11pm. And also that clubs are open till 6am. Quite different than in Finland! :D

I have already had info from the dorm I'm going to live in, I have to have my own stuff in kitchen, place is well watched and all the instruction and all, I'm so confused right now! But so happy that the "Where do I live?" -part is finished. :)

New month, new goals!

Hi and good first night of December!

In my case that mean's Christmas calendar without chocolates but with training even harder. Also working with final exams and school projects. Our Start Up Passion project with international participants is also going on pretty good. Next year is the launching to that event so quite much needs still to be done.

Don't give a damn how I look during workout. Sweat is fat crying!!

Yesterday I watched The Notebook from tv, this time wasn't no exception, it made me cry (again). :D Such a beautiful love story, that kind of love I think I have and for that I'm so grateful every single day. Those words in that movie are all so meaningful.

I also got myself a little something for Christmas. New high quality hair extensions, which are perfect and blend exactly to my brown hair colour! I got those from Rapunzel and I just love love love those! :D Couldn't be happier with the results!

But now this happy, grateful and exhausted woman goes to sleep. Nighty night!
